Diversity, equity, and inclusion work is central to Trifolium's mission. In this example, connecting local resources to communities needing access to swimming pools and instruction. Swimming is a life skill. 1 in 5 individuals who die from drowning in the U.S. are children age 14 or younger. Fatal drowning rate of minority children is almost 3X that of white children in same age range. Work is ongoing with others in the freshwater science community.
